The 2014 TGD Part E Acoustic Testing is performed by Leinster Property Assessors. All residential developments must implement acoustic testing sampling as of June 1, 2015, in accordance with Technical Guidance Document Part E.

In accordance with TGD Part E, Leinster Property Assessors provide independent acoustic testing and reporting from a third party. The objective, also known as a sound insulation test, is to guarantee that residential buildings meet acceptable standards for sound insulation.

To demonstrate that dividing walls or floors comply with regulations, tests are conducted on them. Prior to the building being finished and approved by Building Control, sound testing is done on site.
